Camp Cabarita is transforming from an Eco Lodge into a Well Being Eco Resort.

Gone is the spartan bath house of Camp Cabarita’s past; it’s been replaced by two open sky stone showers. An arched doorway opens to a 7′ wide x 10′ tall enclosure. Potted elephant ear plants bring a burst of life and greenery into the space.The floor is stone with a center round of cedar wood directly beneath a raindrop shower head flush mounted to a local hardwood timber.

The rough cut limestone is from a nearby quarry and the showers were built by Fire, a local mason. The showers are lit by candles and dimmable LED strings lights providing a sublime experience day or night.

These showers have been on the drawing board for quite sometimes; but NOW was the right time to make them a reality. Camp Cabarita began serving coffee scrubs and has added other ‚Food for your Skin‘ items to our 2017 menu. The new showers will provide a convenient and private place to use these revitalizing, made to order scrubs.
